The Railway Motor Car Company of America

Building cars at this location for just a short nine months, the company is so overwhelmed with orders that it will undergo a $50,000 capital expansion. The factory presently has around fifty men on its payroll, but is expected to increase to over 150 once the new addition is completed.

The firm makes a track service motor car, which is said to be one of the most unique and serviceable pieces of railroad equipment on the market today. The service car can pull 35 times its own weight from a complete standstill. Reverse at full speed without the use of brakes. The unit can operate on kerosene or gasoline and has power at every wheel. Fully covered by U. S. patents this remarkable piece of equipment can be used by railroads, mining and quarry companies and industrial plants.
