Overhead view of Woodmar development -- From high above the ground here's how the new construction was taking shape sometime during 1926. The street in the foreground is the 6900 and 7000 blocks of Knickerbocker Parkway. Home to many lavish and expansive residences of which three can be seen here.
The large empty field in the background is now home to the Purdue University Calumet Campus. First founded in 1946, this urban college consists of over a dozen buildings and support structures, and is still growing. To learn more about the present day Woodmar area visit our Woodmar Historical District section.
