The Gibson Yards - - This photo was taken sometime during the 1950's, looking eastward from the Indianapolis Boulevard nine span bridge. Note: the shadow of the bridge in the foreground of this picture. Also of interest is the steam locomotive, near the middle of the photo on the righthand side. Now focus your attention to the background on the lefthand side, and you can see the old Shell Oil refinery and tank farm.
